Roberto Cosolini nato a Trieste il 14.05.1956. Il suo impegno professionale si è espresso prevalentemente nel campo dell’economia e del lavoro.
- Direttore della CNA (Confederazione Nazionale dell’Artigianato e della piccola e media impresa) dal 1983. Ha attuato efficaci interventi a favore delle imprese artigiane e delle piccole e medie realtà produttive.
- Presidente dell’Ezit (ente zona industriale di Trieste) dal 1998 al 2001 ha favorito il rinnovamento della Trieste industriale promuovendo il polo nautico, il “Villaggio EZIT” per PMI, l’insediamento di Pasta Zara, il piano infraregionale della zona industriale.
- Membro di Consiglio e Giunta della CCIAA (Camera di Commercio, Industria, Artigianato e Agricoltura) di Trieste dal 2000 al 2003.
- Dal 2003 al 2008 è stato Assessore regionale al Lavoro, Formazione, Università e Ricerca. Durante il suo mandato - ispirato a un modello partecipativo e di concertazione - è stato autore di alcune leggi (.pdf) particolarmente attese dall’intero mondo produttivo regionale, che hanno regolamentato, chiarito e sostenuto aspetti di primaria rilevanza del mondo del lavoro, della ricerca e dello sviluppo tecnologico, della formazione e delle professioni. Durante il suo mandato da Assessore regionale, ha favorito l’interazione e la cooperazione tra l’Università, gli Istituti di ricerca, gli imprenditori, i sindacati, le associazioni, i lavoratori favorendo le rispettive parti non solo sul lavoro, la formazione e l’innovazione ma anche sulle politiche di bilancio, sul reddito di cittadinanza e sull’agevolazione Irap per imprese virtuose. Ha promosso nel 2007 e nel 2008 “FEST” il festival internazionale dell’editoria scientifica, in collaborazione con la SISSA (Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Superiori).
- Concluso l’incarico regionale ha ripreso il suo lavoro alla CNA dedicandosi allo sviluppo dei servizi alle imprese.
- E’ stato proclamato Sindaco di Trieste il 31 maggio del 2011.
Roberto Cosolini was born in Trieste on the 14.05.1956. His professional commitment is mainly mirrored in the field of economy and employment.
- Director of the CNA (Confederazione Nazionale dell’Artigianato – National Confederation of Arts and Crafts of small and medium enterprises) since 1983. He introduced efficient interventions to foster the crafts enterprises and the small and medium production companies.
- President of the Ezit (ente zona industriale di Trieste – Trieste industrial zone authority) from 1998 to 2001, he favoured the renovation of the industrial field in Trieste by promoting the nautical centre, the “Villaggio EZIT” (industrial zone village) for the SMEs, the settlement of Pasta Zara, the interregional project for the industrial zone.
- Member of the Council and Board of the CCIAA (Camera di Commercio, Industria, Artigianato e Agricoltura – Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture) of Trieste from 2000 to 2003.
- From 2003 to 2008 he was a Regional Councillor for Employment, Training, University and Research. During his mandate – inspired by a model of participation and consultation – he drew up some laws (.pdf), which were particularly awaited by the whole regional productive sector. His laws have defined the rules, have cleared and supported the key aspects in the field of: market, research and technological development, training and professions. During his mandate as a Regional Councillor he has favoured the interaction and the cooperation among the Universities, the research Institutions, the entrepreneurs, the trade unions, the associations, the workers, by favouring the parts not only in the field of employment, training and innovation, but also in the field of budget policies, citizens’ income and by introducing facilitations regarding the IRAP tax (Italian regional production tax) for virtuous enterprises.
In 2007 and in 2008 he promoted the “FEST”, the international festival of the scientific publishing, in cooperation with the SISSA (Higher International School of Advanced Studies). - After concluding his regional mandate he returned to his job at the CNA, dedicating his efforts to the development of services for the enterprises.
- He was proclaimed Mayor of the town of Trieste on 31st May 2011.
