ATTENTIONTODIFFERENCES...........INCLUDING THOSE IN YHE MALE SEX
Why,
in American university, women surpass men and why are they better than
men? In 2000 177,000 more women gradueted than men.
At the University of Seattle women constitute 61% of the students and
at Princeton University, where women were admitted only 30 years ago,
they constitute 57%. Feminists say that it is simply a success story,
that when sex discrimination ended, women reached their natural level.
Feminists also ask the question " Was there anybody who worried when the
" gender gap" was the opposite and women did not go to university ? They
say that , finally , the abilities of women are recognised. Michael Gurian,
expert in child psychology, writes in his book "Men learn differently
than women" that rather than female successes it is a matter of male lack
of success, due to school programs which do not consider the different
behaviour of the mail brain. Boys need to speak about their own ideas
rather then being obliged to write and read.
They can not keep still for 40 consecutive minutes, loose their concentration
and their teachers have to comply with their desires to jump around. Sometimes
, faced with this problem, American families give over-active boys psyco-medicines.

GOVERNMENT
CONSULTORIES AT RISK TO BE SHUT
Many of the
3200 Family Consultories were created in 1975. At the time being play
are at risk to be shut down for luck of funds. These Consultories were
created with the main purpose to prevent illegal abortions and to teach
about contraceptives and a responsable sexuality. In these 25 years the
State Consultories and Hospital helped women to drop illegal abortion.
Also these Institutions have guaranteed safe surgery for the good safety
of women's life and furtherwere they have been determinant in the reduction
of the numbers of abortions. At the time being the working conditions
of these services are inadeguate compare to the need of. Sometimes, and
particularly in the big Cities and in the South of Italy the Hospital
personnel are insufficient. As a consequence women are compelled to go
in other Regions or Cities from where they live to have surgery. In the
Province of Lombardia has been introduced tickets to be paied for several
services, only women under the age of 22 are exempt. Some people operating
in the Public Consultories believe that the lack of funds by the actual
Italian Government is the beginning of medical private practice, dropping
the eventual Social Medicare.
